carnage! # 82
well once again me being rough on my 79 4x4 means i wrecked more stuff lol i pulled the transfer case out of the truck finally... realized it is a new process 203 which is chain driven... for whatever reason i "guessed" that it was a 205... so anyways the planetary gears are destroyed! so i was kinda looking at finding a 205 then i stumble across a site and decided i should buy a doubler kit, have the 203 reduction box bolted to the 205 and have a beefy 4:1 ratio! so i guess i park the truck till i find a good np205...
once i get this done i can put on some hhuuuggee tires and then wreck the d44 up front next! hurray haha

ya its kinda like a circle stamp, says new process gear on top and underneath that it will say model 203 or 205 and have an F beside it..
the 203 is kinda like a 2 piece it has the "pto" i guess? bolted to the trans then the chain case bolted to that, and the 205 is all one piece bolted to the trans... i beleive anyways??

Next time i head back to Nipawin, I will check out the extra transfer case/4 speed transmission I have, maybe work something out with ya. Although I have no idea what that stuff is worth.
