Engine Swap

So I've been tinkering around with the idea to swap out my 2001 Triton V-10 with either a 6.0 or 7.3L powerstroke. I know I would have to change the computer out and the harnesses, but for the most part I figure it will be mainly a plug and play progect. Has anyone ever heard of this being done beofre or even read about it?

Youll need a transmission too. V-10 4R100s do not bolt up to diesels, just like a 4R100 out of an Expedition will not bolt up to your V-10. there is a thread up in general diesel discussion about a gentleman making a swap in his OBS dually from a 5.8 gasser to a 7.3. here is a link.

A 4R100 from a V10 will bolt up to a 6.0L diesel. It will not bolt to a 7.3L diesel.
