Folks - I have a quick question from a friend with a late '99 6-speed work truck. He let a friend borrow it and it has come back with a friend clutch - slips a good bit with any torque applied to it. Doing the work himself what clutch kits are recommended and about what should they cost?

I would go with what Chris said...IIRC the flywheels in these truck have a some what of a double disk set up to them? my mind is going a little these days, look at the seal to see if its come apart aswell. I know the OBS were notrious for this. Just my $.02. I would also say if money is tight a Luk clutch is a nice replacement aswell
