Exhaust Leak - HELP!!!!
I thought I had an exhaust manifold leak, but then I noticed the leak was coming from a (rusted out) stem located on rear driver's side just above the exhaust manifold. The line connected to the stem ran to some emission control stuff that looks like its been diconnected.
Can't find a replacement. The stem is about 4 inches and looks flared at the end. Any idea what this is? Best solution? Like I said, it is pretty much completely rusted out. When we put a rag around it to seal off, the truck ran perfectly. Guys at Auto Zone called it a "dealer only" part.
