Any tips on whats usually good parts to sell off vehicles. Like little things that you can get for next to nothing at junkyards/pull-a-part but can resell on ebay for $20+? Sometimes even I've had acess to places where someone just has a bunch of old cars in their yard and pretty much says I can take any parts for free, I know there's little valuable treasures on them but never know what to take.
One thing I've found is any old horn, they're easy t remove, easy to ship and people always seem to bid on them
If you can find some one local, cylinder heads usually pull it over $100 each but I'm mostly interested in stuff that can easily be shipped.
Some of the trim pieces and lettering scripts, depending on make and model, can be in demand... Hood ornaments, also...
Mirrors (especially if original and in good condition), seat belts, steering wheels (the more hard-to-find ones, anyway)...
If you have a list of vehicles you can strip parts from, do an Ebay or Google search to see if any parts from those vehicles are in demand, then go from there...
Interior parts, trim pieces, chrome pieces, stock radios, emblems, stock underhood pieces, and hub caps. The list goes on and on for vintage vehicles.
An old boss of mine restored a 37 Chevy pick up, and bought 4 radiator caps for it til he got the perfect condition one, that took about 10 years to find.
