tranny issues (i think)

heres the deal i let my truck sit for 3 weeks while i was gone to work when i came home my batteries were dead.I charged them up started the truck and thought everything was fine, well now i have what feels like a vibration that starts at 40kmh ,at 60 the steering wheel starts to shake when i hit 100 it quits but i can still hear a growl coming from below my feet.I checked all my u-joints they are all good the funny this is when i step on it i can feel my converter lockup (i think) then this wierd noise/vibration comes back ,i scanned for codes and got a KAM memory reset error so i reset the KAM but it did not help. Any ideas i cant figure this out it ran and drove perfect when i parked it would the dead batteries have something to do with it? sorry for the long post but i am stumped on this one thanks in advance guys

A dead battery (or a battery disconnect) will put the the tranny into a "learn" configuration. Drive it for a day or two and it should settle down. INSURE you have fluid in the tranny.... cold, it should show above the full mark on the stick.

You haven't had a fluid drain/flush lately have you? Just wanna make sure you used the correct fluid. SP only ...or the new Ford replacement fluid.

Did the tow/Haul light start flashing?

I think the LV fluid supersedes the SP fluid. I was told by a diesel tech and service advisor that it is OK to mix the two.

May sound stupid but its not in four wheel drive is it. Also make sure that the hubs are disengaged. You should be able to spin the front drive shaft by hand. Sometimes the hubs dont unlock after putting it back in two wheel drive.
