c6 to NP435?

My c6 in my '71 Sport Custom is bleeding profusely, and I think it might be time for a rebuild, but with all the c6's out there, a swap is a cheaper option, but I have an opportunity to get a NP435 with granny low. Has anyone done this swap? How different are they in length and mounting?

A 71 Sport Custom ? Is that a two wheel drive?

Most economical would be to fix the leak, and maybe a trans service. Don't ya think?
