tires

im gonna be in the market for new tires soon, i have 265/75/16's on my 01 f150 scab fx4 5.4 now. could i run 285/75/16's without them rubbing? any suggestions on tires? i have mastercraft courser A/T's on it now and i like them alot. i plan to go the same route A/T wise

you should be able to run 285's no problem. i am running hankook atm rf10 on my navi. they have 15k and show no sighs of were. they seem to be a good tire at a nice price. i payed $140ea

i was wondering because ive heard things like 285's would rub bad on the fenders and others say they will fit just fine and they will rub a bit when turning sharp

with stock wheels 285 clear fine, when you chage wheels, and change the backspacing thats when you have problems with rubbing.

Mastercraft are pretty good tires have not heard anything legitimately bad about them.

i really like my mastercrafts but there going to need to be replaced by fall. still dont know if i should go with the 285's or 265's
