I thought you guys might enjoy seeing a comparison of my WWs so here you go and it has been replaced, just waiting on the rest of my parts to start rebuilding and putting things back in my baby.
Yep, when I bought the truck it still had the stock air filter housing and the mileage on the truck was 184K and yes it is kind of chewed up, slightly bent fins, small chips missing, stuff like that.
X2, good deal on the WW and some very important info came out of this thread, stock airbox-filter leaks ruining a wheel and the possible damage to a motor it can create..
I'm going to enjoy having a new WW, a pedestal that no longer leaks, no more up pipe leaks and a 4" exhaust!
That is what my current project consists of.
WW ( wicked Wheel) helps with turbo surge 99 trucks and under already have it 2000 on up don't anywhere from 75-100 bucks they are all the same so go with the best deal. Makes the turbo whistle a little louder.

I thought the Early 99s were the only ones that came factory with the WW?
I could be wrong but Im prety sure it's the 99 and below. The old man has a 99 and it sure sounds like it has one and he was the only owner. Im sure someone else will chime in and give the definate.
