im a 19 year old student attending SDSU but i am from san jose

i currently do not have a truck but i have a Ford


its my first car and ive put a lot of love in it but now its time for a truck.


i have the chance to get a nice 2000 F-350 7.3l for $8400

its my dad's truck and he says if i find him a 2005 or newer, nice, low milage lifted, 4x4, automatic, ext. cab, long bed for $30,000 or less i can buy his truck off him.

trouble is, i cant find such a truck. so plan B is to find a nice f-150 super or crew cab shortbed for $10,000 or less (can't go over, its all the money i have to spend and still have a nice financial cushion in my bank account).

the search begins. hopefully i will belong here by the end of summer.
any tips on where to look for a deal (besides CL) would be appreciated.

im going to hold off on joining simply because i do not have a truck yet and i hate to say it but i might not end up with a ford in the end.

 

You don't have to own a Ford truck to join the chapter. This is a Ford Truck ENTHUSIAST site. I didn't own a Ford when I joined, and currently don't own one (or any motor vehicle for that matter) now. However, I still post from time to time, not as often as I used to, but I do check in from time to time.
