I've looked at several posts on here about floor mats, but not found the info I am looking for. I carpool to a steel mill and the guys that ride with me aren't the best at keeping thier boots on the floor mats. I am looking for something that gives the overall best coverage...think all teh way from teh door sills to the center hump.
Can you guys help me out and post some pictures of your floor mats?
Websites selling floor mats don't seem to have very good pictures of them for my 06 ext cab. Right now i'm considering Weathertech, Cabelas, Husky. What else is out there???
Are you wanting something that looks good? or something thats easyly removed and cleaned? or just something that keeps your truck clean? I would get some plastic( i used mining curtin the thin white) and you can lay it out and tuck it under the kick pannel and the side pannel at the door and can remove the seat and lay it out like carpet do a complete coverage.
also a lowes or tractor supply or homedepot has a thick plastic. Not the cheap black or clear plastic. But good durable rubber matt does the trick.
Dont have pictures. Im a gargage and towing company. Where i live there are alot of coal mines. The miners get me to remove all the seats and consol's and put plastic or rubber mat in the there vehicles and seat covers so they wont get them dirty and they can just use a really good cleaner( blue wolf) and spray and wipe out. I call it mining curtin. i dont know the acutal name of the suff. Its white and its a mix between rubber and plastic. Its a really really nice floor mat. In my explorer(just work truck) Ive got a rubber mat cut and layed down just to where it tucks under the console and over to kickpannel and under seat about 3 inches. Aslo got it in the cargo area just spread out. Easly removed. I got it from lowes. wasnt but about 20 bucks for a 8x8 sheet.
I have Weathertech and love them. They go several inches up the hump and also over to the sill plate. Do a search here for "weathertech" and you will find a thread I started that contains pics of another users truck with them.
I have always used Husky liners, they are very durable, and protect very well. The rear goes all the way across and the fronts go up the hump pretty well, and I used the factory rear floor mats 1. over the center of the hump and 2. slid down in by the gas pedal where my foot would hit the hump. And no I have never had a TOYOTA mat hangup!!
