Harmonic Balancer ?

i think i need a 28oz balancer but want to be shur. its stock 40 over bottom with alum heads and 512 cam. what is the reason for the others?

i am looking at one and want to know what i need, i have a 1971 block but was running a stock 67 balancer (3 bolt) but i got a march serp pulley kit for a 4 bolt and have to get a balancer. this is what i see

so what do i need? i dont want to space it and knock my pulleys out of line. does the offset only matter for the year that the ps, wp, ect is or is the block offset not the same from year to year

Your engine should have the 28oz balance.

thats what i thought my issue is for my 71 do i have to use a spacer. is it based on the year crank or the year pulley set up

this is the kit i got but its on a display motor not mine

this thing is so nice and i got it 1/2 price (go ebay) but i may need to get a driver side water pump but thats ok.

Depends on the balancer and pulleys, you'll just have to mount everything and see if you need a spacer.
