Weird Find...
So I was looking through craigslist earlier and i found this.

1978 Ford F150 Chop Top project

i thought it was differant and figured you guys would want to see it.
never heard of anyone doing this before...

hard to believe with all the cabs that are rusting away naturally, someone would go screw one up like that on purpose!!!!

I totally agree, chopped top anything totally screws up the whole look of any vehicle.

I read all the replys before I looked at the ad, and though "It can't be THAT bad". Well, it is. I think if he bobbed the bed before the rear axle, to maybe a little shorter than a shortbed, it MAY look okay.

I think whoevers behind that should say no to drugs, its sad to see so many of these lovely old trucks fall into the wrong hands and go to a sad waste.

ok so it turns out i go to school with the kid that did this...



he is a jeep dude and gets dent every now and then
he sold my friend a 1978 f-150 short bed for $3000 and ripped him off...
the 351w in it is about to go, he caked it with bondo and put a crappy spay paint primer job on it...
not worth $3000 at all

Defintaly ugly but definatly worth 400 in parts. I wouldn't mind having the bed, looks solid from what I can see.
