Can anyone let me know how the 4x4 X does in towing (without load leveling suspension)a 3500# loaded boat and 1000# trailer (tongue weight ~ 1000#)(19' boat and tandem axle trailer).
My concern is that I don't want the nose of the truck to be up and blind other drivers at night with my lights. I know with the load leveling, this will not happen (I had a '97 X). The problem is that I can't order the new 2003 X with the load leveling until late in the year or maybe next year, and I wanted to take delievery sooner. The new X will have an independant rear suspension so it may not be a good comparison.
I don't want that sagging rear end look while towing. Any help
