2000 Explorer XLT Mileage
Is that in the city or on the highway? In town my 4.0L V6 OHV gets around 11 MPG in the city. I know it sounds really bad for a V6, which it is 'cause V-10 Excursions can get higher than that, but it does get 20 MPG on the highway. I've read that most people get between 11-15 MPG in town with the V8 and AWD and around 16-20 on the highway.
If you just started getting this mileage and were previously getting better then something definately went wrong.

Its city and highway miles. It's been getting worse over the last year. The dealer is pretty much useless. Was wondering if there is anything to help with the mileage? Thanks.
