I am sorta lucky in the fact that I work for a very small family owned company. It has been family owned since 1842. They believe in finding a person that can do a peticular job like building (and designing if nessecary) bell ringing hardware and keeping that person forever. I have the least time with them at 5 years. Most of the guys that work there have 20 or more years. They went through about 7 other welder/fab guys before me to replace the old man who was retiring. I guess i got lucky and had my resume out there at that time.

Save up some money John, so you can tear yours apart to some day. Before you end up sitting on the frame like me

LOL Ken not many people know how to weld and weld good! (not saying I can) your lucky to have a job like that man, sounds fun as hell lol.

I haven't really picked any career yet, been doing a lot of construction and been thinking about starting my own construction business someday, but me and my brother have been talking about starting our own auto shop since we where little kids, so I'd hate to leave him hanging.

Also I got my rockers done so I don't need the other ones just tell me when a good time for you is and we can meet up so you can get them.

John, fingers crossed for you.

Tractor Supply looks like a decent place to work if it is like the stores here.

They have a rather good selection of handy stuff on the shelves.

Good luck! I've never been in a Tractor Supply, but from what I've heard about them, I'd probably spend my whole paycheck working there.
