Any roof from the 80-81 on should be exchangable. But you will still be needing the top brake light in some states (of your country), and the back seat safety belt mounts.
Yep, 80-96 all have the same dimensions for the top. You will lose your rear shoulder harness seatbelt mounts and high-mount stop lamp on 92-96 models as Encho mentioned. Check the Red Link in my signature or the FAQ thread at the top of the forum for more info
