Wait to Start Light

Have a 2004 F250 SD with a PSD6.0 with 94K miles.

My wait to start light does not illuminate, but the trucks starts and runs fine. Any ideas?

BTW, this is my first diesel trucks.

Is the light itself burned out? That sometimes happens. I'd check the simple things before presuming something serious is wrong.

What and how is the easiest and best way to check the bulb to see if it is burned out?

Whe you first turn the key to run, all your indicator lights should light, including your wait to start light, for a brief time. If the light NEVER comes on, pop the dash off and test the bulb.
