Loudfords....questions about MAC headers?
Loudfords(or anyone else that might know). I am looking for a set of headers to fit my 1978 f100 with a 351w and c4 tranny. I looked at Chad's gallery at the headers he is using. They are MAC headers for a 86-93 mustang. My questions are these: are they long tube headers or shorties? I can't reallly tell from the picture. How hard were they to fit to your truck? Any major modifications to make them work?...thanks, Ben

I just noticed chad's truck is an f150, and mine is an f100 is there a difference in the frame widths or anything that will affect how the headers fit? thanks again, Ben

A friend of mine had a 72 F-100 with dynamax headers on a 351W I think he pulled them from an 83 F150. they were long headers. I would go with the mustang shorties personally. they were awfully close to his starter.
