visiting oklahoma
Hi i am making a trip to the oklahoma city general area in early july from the UK and i got to thinking that i could maybe get some local info from the OK chapter.We would be looking for some rodeos,auto shows,cruises and other events or places of interest to visit and also maybe a good salvage yard or parts supplier where i could maybe get some parts for my 77 f100 any ideas or help would be much appreciated thanks.

im not sure when any events are in july but ill search for some, we definitely have plenty of rodeos, lol....the summer sizzler car show is in july i think...bricktown is the spot to check out in the evenings, its the restaurant/club distric by downtown....there are several salvages to hit that have a bunch of old Fords, including a pullapart yard...i will PM you my cellphone number so you can reach me for directions, i dont get on here much lately so it would be a better way to get ahold of me...like i said ill try to post up some events as i learn of them...

now thats the kinda info i was hoping for thanks alot,would be great to have a few events to visit during our stay,altho we are sorted out for a few days at a international horse event.
