Should I not be comfortable with it? I follow direction well but obviously have never done it before. The dealership here just replaces parts, they don't really fix anything. Looking or a way to save some money and get back on the road as soon as possible, with out problems.
Thanks for the input. Anyone had any experience with Suncoast? Or where can I get a good kit with instructions a carpenter can understand for a decent price to fix this problem. I'm shooting in the dark at this point. Got to do this SOON!

I used the ATSG manual for my rebuild. Good instructions and illustrations. I like the Suncoast rebuild kit. Comes with all the clutches (Alto Red Eagle) needed and molded pistons. I would add a new intermediate band and servo piston. I did upgrade my center support and coast clutch drum, from Suncoast, as well. Just depends on how much you want to spend. PM me if you have any questions about doing it yourself. I will help to try to steer you in the right direction. I have also found a good price on a complete kit using Borg Warner clutches and has new thrust bearings and bushings. It is a good kit for a "step above" stock trans rebuild.
