I have a '66 F250 with 3+granny manual and I am in need of a new flywheel cover as well!
Why is this such a commonly absent part on these trucks? Do they fall off all the time or what?
Also, it has been a pretty difficult part for me to find; I have been to the local yards 4 or 5 times and that cover is always missing from any suitable candidate truck I manage to find!
By the way, I saw this old thread so I will bring it back to life rather than start a new one.
Should I message the seller and ask the engine size? From the information earlier in this thread, it looks like this only works for 352 or larger sized engines with manny transmission. Is my understanding correct?

If you have an FE it wil fit.. the displacement doesn't make a difference, but if you have a Y block such as 292 you will need to search for that part specifically// the question is what engine do you have?
Yes you are.. I have the 352 also, and this looks exactly like mine. I have boreed and stroked mine, but the block exterior is still the same. Only the internals are different!
Hi all, though I am new to FTE, I've found a good source for parts....he found me an oil bath air cleaner and the dust cover (I've only had the truck two weeks).....yeah, ours was missing the dust cover as well.
