IDM Mod...Complete + Thanks
hey guys...
wanted to thank all FTE members for a great site. have owned the truck for 3 month and have done so much maintenance and mods alone and with the assistance of some great friends
. i have never worked on diesels, but have on many gassers. anyway...
last nite i did the IDM mod and EBP tube clean out. both were realitively easy, due to the great info here. i was very scared about the IDM, but it wasnt bad at all. anyone considering doing this themselves, "JUST DO IT." it is intimidating, but it cost me 21 cents and 45 minutes. throttle response has increased and ill see how the next tank of fuel ends up. I told jim(rat49f6) last nite the truck was like on steriods. i am a firm believer in doing the work yourself and learning. there are great reference on FTE to use. Thanks to everyone for their hard work...
