Irregular automatic transmission performance in overdrive

I have a 2004 F-250 xlt w/ automatic transmission 6.0l diesel. When driving the truck after it has cooled down completely, it has a hesitation and jerking at speeds from 45 to 55 mph when in overdrive until the engine and transmission temperatures reach normal operating temperatures. If I put the truck in tow mode until it warms up, it drives fine. Truck has approximately 140K miles on it and has received routine maintenance per schedule.

Any ideas?

Injector stiction, egr needs cleaning (maybe) and/or turbo needs cleaning. Most likely it's the injectors being a little cranky. Try an oil change and see if this helps. You say maintenance "per schedule"? What is your oil change interval and what type of oil are you using?

What do your rpms do? Do they shoot up and fluctuate on their own and then come back down to normal?
