Shaking/Bouncing Front end?

Well the front end of my truck has had a shake to it for a while now, and have been ignoring it for to long now and want to adress it before i lift it. It happens at any speed, its not the road even though it looks like 3 year old paved our roads here in oregon. But i can feel it all the time and have thought about a few things but have ruled most of them out. I have let a little tire pressure out, i had the front end worked on it had new ball joints, tie-rod ends, cv seal and some other stuff i cant remember back in NOV. but im looking for ideas and help from you guys to get rid of this SH&& lol. i dont know if its the tires out of balance or what some call the death wobble but any ideas would be much appreciated thanks blake.

Could be tires, or a bent wheel (maybe?)... wheel bearings?

mine wasn't like what you are describing but it was somewhat rough. i did a front wheel bearing job and swapped my U joints between the front diff and the wheels and it smoothed out quite a bit. Lift the front just off the ground and shake those wheels side to side and up and down to see if the bearings are way loose. And with it on the ground get under there and torque the axle by hand a little and see if the U joints have a lot of play.

Yeah, forgot about the u-joints on the ends of the front axle... could be those also.

well those axle u-joints were replaced when shwabsdid my front end but i will check them and maybe my other u-joints to? and a bent wheel might explain it and will have to wait to be replaced until i get the lift. and i just did my front hub bearings when i replaced the brakes about 4 weeks ago. thanks for the ideas guys. anymore?

We have a 06 F350 service truck that was doing this at work and the ford stealership said to look for grass hoppers and other debris in the rims we got a good laugh that morning at the shop i can't remember the actual cause though.

death wobble... i'm going to put my money on bad front axl control arm bushings. the diagonal arms that hold the axl into the frame of the truck. I've heard this from many a folks with 4x4's thinking their wheels were going to fall off and sure engouh that was the problem. Have your bushings checked...it can't hurt.

Rotate the tires & see if the wobble goes away. Don't cost anything.
