Cab Steps

Well, my truck didn't come with cab steps. I need a set, and like the chrome tubular oem steps. I can't seem to find any less expensive alternate brand steps that are as low as the oem, it seems the oem steps drop down more, which makes getting in my tall f350 4x4 easier.

Does anyone know who makes the oem, or are they only available as a ford product? Also, any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Gman

I've only ever seen them offered by Ford.

Post in the classifieds section that you are looking for a set of them, or even look on ePay. I see used sets for sale often.

You could look at a set of those electric steps that come down when you open the door. Here is a set in San Diego on Craigslist.

I installed a Kwikee motorhome electric step below the running board on my King Ranch on the passenger side for the DW and her bad knee. It was that or get rid of the truck.

I found a set from a 2008 on craigslist two days ago. Used but in great shape for $125. Might be another place to look.

I used the new OEM takeoff that is a FTE supporter here about 4 years ago for my 2006 F250.

I bought a new stainless steel set of Dee-Zee's for about $150 off ebay a few years ago.
