another 390 question
since the '54 is back on the ground and it's raining......does anyone know the measurement from the bell housing to the center of the motor mount on a 390?. i've found outside dimensions on the internet, but nothing detailed.

I can easily measure tomorrow! But I have a C6 so are you talking about the engine to bell housing surface up to the motor mounts center - which would also be defined as the starter mounting surface to the motor mount center - right?

From the back edge of the engine/transmission mating surface on the right (starter) side, to the center of the motor mount bolt (motor mount installed) is exactly 14 inches.
Wow, it's been 3 1/2 years since that got put in! Had it up to 85 today! Shhhhh!
