Looking for a Lost Truck

I posted this is the Montana chapter but haven't had any luck so I am posting it here to.

I am looking for the truck in the picture. My dad built in 1985 and sold it around 1995. I had an add on Craigslist and got a reply that someone had seen it in Lincoln Montana. Any here ever run across anything on it?

I saw one just like this on ebay a couple of months ago. Search the completed auctions.

WOW!, that thing gotta seat about 10 or 12! It would be cooler yet if it could pull the front wheels off of the ground!!

PS: Good luck on your search, I know I havn't seen that over here on the east coast.

I can't remember exactly how many it would seat but I remember it had three full bench seats and the smaller super cab bench in the way back. I am pretty sure it is in the Helena, MT area.

That must be real fun parking and flipping a U eee.

Seats 12 from what I can tell.

Was it ever registered? Must have been fun getting it inspected.

It was registered for about 10 years in Platte County Wyoming. It had the 460 that was originally in my race truck. My dad used it to tow his two mudboggers. I traveled a lot of miles in it when I was real young.

I don't know if you can view the members listing and determine if someone lives in Helena or not; but that might be a good way to pm someone personnelly to help you locate the rig.

Dad wants to buy it back and fix it up with parts from his wrecked 7.3 Excursion and use it to tow our race truck.

I only have one digital picture Harold but I will scan some and get them up on Monday.

Not sure it's the same one or not, but saw something very similar North of Spokane, WA last week. I don't recall the one I saw being a dually though.

I don't think I'll find it up here in Eastern Canada, but if I do I'm keeping it, I love that THING it's full of attiltude.
