How to sit level
#31
I put the 844s on my 2wd and love it. It really doesn't feel alot firmer to me. One nice advantage is in cornering. The truck seems to corner much flatter now. I really like the way it rides now. Was kind of sloppy with stock springs. Also I work for a auto shop on the weekends and installed the springs and my truck was still in spec for the alignment. Didn't have to adjust anything.

Well, that pic is completely wrong, but the moog cc844 and cc844s are the heavy duty f250 and f350 coil springs. The "s" stands for severe duty. I used just the regular 844 and they're plenty strong but many folks here have used the 844s.
Compared to the canadian prices, that looks like a good deal but I would shop around to be sure.

hmm, im still confused . what would everyone do for 2-3 inches in front. i still want to squeez 33x12.5 15's on my 96 f150. is 2 or 3 gonna be enough? and in back add a leafs or blocks i assume. i don't want a hard ride , i like the stock ride , my truck still feels stiff but has a nice ride. i dont want a hard bumpy ride, thats why i wanted the coil spring spacers but from what you guys have told me their not a good route

[quote=skyfox10;8811458]If you have a 4x4 then getting 1.5"-2" of lift in the front should be enough to clear 33's. My fully stock 4x4 is sporting 32x11.5R15's and they work just fine. The rear should be high enough as it is.
That looks really sharp! since my truck is a short bed also that gives me a good idea of how its gonna look. Did you just get the new tires?

During the right conditions, my front tire will get extremely close to that little black valence at the front of the bumper. If I had 33's, I'm guessing it would rub. That can be fixed by moving the bumper out a little bit though.
If you want the minimum height for 33" tires. I'd say get the tires, then check for rubbing and adjust the truck as necessary (depending on what rubs). Otherwise, I'd go with your preferred method of leveling the truck (springs/spacers/etc).

Well, ultimately it depends on the stance you want to go for. I want to level my truck out, so I'm looking for springs. Also, I'm only running 32's. If you are going to 33's it's probably more important to get a little more clearance up front.
