windshield wipers

it would be really handy to have windshield wipers that stand out on their own on my truck, is it possible to get wipers that would do that for my truck or will ones of a newer truck (mid 90's) fit aswell?

These rigs were pretty much the same except for some cometic changes till 96 so I don't see why they wouldn't fit. Go for it and let us know lol. Should be able to get the arms cheap at a salvage yard.

You talking about the ones that "fold out?" My 1994 body still has the immovable ones and i bent the crap out of it. Took quite awhile to get it back. I am not sure what would fit but if it is the 18" i am guessing that little post is pretty standard. I have been thinking the same thing since it would be nice to have the better spring loaded style. Cleaning would be a lot easier too.

I wanna get the old style chrome arms and metal chrome wipers from the 70's. Wonder if they still make those tho?
