you all have probably been asked this stuff a thousand times but i have tons of surge especially when i am goin bout 70and go to pass some one especially up hill or when im pullin a load it gets pretty bad any suggestions ....i was thinkin the whicked wheel
"Surge" is when the compressor stalls due to inadequate air flow on the intake side.
I'm having no problems at 25 psi with the AIS intake system.
The wicked wheel should reduce airflow through the compressor, which is one way of stopping the stall. Seems they've cut half the compressor blades to half height.
I've never seen any airflow/psi comparisons between stock and the wicked wheel. That would be useful information.
