Front Shock Mounts

Hey guys I blew one of my front shocks out the other day. I really want to get Bilstein 5100's, but would have to buy SIX shocks, four up front and two in the rear. I would like to get the factory mounts for the front, if anyone has or know's where to get them cheap (remember cheap) let me know, I would be willing to trade ya too! They are made by ProComp....

Hey Glenn...Maybe I am reading this wrong but are you not happy with the dual shock set up on your truck?

No, I like them, but I priced 6 new Bilstein's close to 4 bills, not doing that.

I'm open to suggestions on good shocks too. I'm looking at some ProComp ES9000 if anyone has imput on those, they are half the price.

Chris(F350-6) put a set of the Gabriel shocks rated for the front of diesels on his and he likes them. They were not too high either.Do not remember what he gave for them.

He bought them at Autozone.I am thinking about going to them because they are local.Save the boxes and if they go bad return them for warranty.
Everybody has their own opinion. They work for him.

I don't mind saving a few bucks at all. It seems I've been blowing money on the truck like crazy lately!! One thing after another.

Tell a dumb azz what the benefits would be to double front shocks?I do not spend everyday in rough river bottoms but quite often and that heavy motor does bounce some with the 5100 Bilsteins.

Barry, honestly I don't know the right answer. I've been told not to run dual 5100's because they would be pretty stiff, instead you should run 5125's. Something to do with different valving.

Me neither...I just go with what folks says are good and have tried.I figure actual user opinions means more than any printed advertisement.
