I'm impressed, coming from a cynic like me, that's pretty good!

 

I was going to paint my 51 red and black, Black being the fenders, lower valance, rims and running boards and red being the bed sides cab and hood. Then paint the grille argent silver. do you guys think that would look good? my fenders are rough so getting them perfect will take a llllloooonnnnggggg time

 

You better work on them a long time because every little thing will show, just be sure you block sand them till they are perfect.

 

My 56 is going to be basically red and black, I have already started the paint work. We also did renderings in color with the flames and all. Like I said, black is bitchin. Go for it, good luck on those fenders

 

Does anyone have pictures of the 51/52 F1's with hot rod flat black with gloss black accents? Is there the same trouble with the need for perfection with the sheetmetal? Thanks, Steve
