Spark Plug Wire Problem?!?!
Ok, so here's the problem...I was planning on changing my plugs and wires today on my truck, it's a 1998 Ford F-150 with the 4.6L Romeo Engine. My uncle dropped by and after he saw what I was doing offered to do the plugs and wires for me for $40...I've done this job before...I'm jumping on that wagon because I've seen him fix his own vehicles before so he has knowledge...or so I thought! I went into my house to grab a few drinks and stuff...gone about 20 mins. Come back and he has 2 plugs in already...good job but why aren't the wires connected to them??? He told me he knew what he was doing and it'd start. Sure did start! But now when I give it a shot of gas it sounds like it's sucking in air and doesn't get the power it used to. I'm think he crossed 2 wires and it's not going in the order it should? If this was what happened would it even start? I would have thought not...but maybe? What I need know is to find some kind of schematic that shows where each plug wires goes after they are all conected up? Any idea where I could find this? It sucks when your truck won't get up and go like it used too!! Thanks in advance for any help!
Jason.
