86 EFI 302 electrical problems again

Ok so I got offered to trade my 86 f150 for another truck and thought my truck was working good, but it died again as if it is not charging. I have replaced the altenator, battery, starter solinoid, starter, coil, head light wiring and fixed all the wiring going to the altenator, battery and starter solinoid. If I charge the battery it seems to hold its charge for a little while then slowly trickles down. I thought I had it working so when I started it it went up in voltage but didn't jump to 14 volts, it just slowly (15 minutes) trickled up to 14 volts. I'm at my wits end, if I can't figure this out I'm going to part the truck and take it in for scrap I've had enough. Thanks in advance for any help.

Take the altenator to an auto parts store and have it tested. It may not be charging like it should. Also check battery for a dead cell. A while back I bought a `62 Plymouth Sport Fury convertable from a guy that had the same problem,he replaced the altenator also,we found that one of the wires to a diode had broke off.

Nothing wrong with the ground cable, tried a couple and same thing. Had the altenator tested and they said it was fine, it sure don't act fine.
