No voltage to my trailer plug

I'm not getting any power to the hot wire on my trailer plug. Everything else works, lights, turn signals, etc. but no power to charge my trailer battery. It's a 30 amp fuse in the panel under the hood, a 2001, and the fuse is good. There has to be some kind of relay though right? Something has to disconnect the power to that plug when you turn the key off so you don't run your battery down. I have traced the wire back to within 6" of the fuse, and there is no power to the wire. What am I missing here?

There should be a relay that powers the circuit under the hood. Seems like it's 2 relays right next to each other. One for the trailer brake circuit, the other for the power wire.

Did you have the engine running when checking for charging voltage?

OK, I got it. Apparently the truck did not come from the factory with the Camper Package. The Camper Package includes the installation of the required 30Amp relay in the housing next to the fuse box under the hood. My relay housing was empty. The housing would normally include the relays for power to the trailer plug and the ESOF, two separate relays. I don't have ESOF, so I had no relays. I installed a 30amp relay and now have power to my trailer plug. I love it when its an easy fix. Thank goodness I hadn't torn the whole wiring system apart looking for a problem, which would be my normal process.
