She under the knife again.
Today started great and ended great. In between however, it got pretty lame.
Sold 4 tires I had today for $75. Put $30 of that in my truck. I'm supposed to be picking up one of our hunting dogs that doesn't hunt and taking her to my grandma's house. I get a ways from home and the truck starts hesistating, missing, and dying. At one point she wouldn't crank up until I just sat for a minute.
Called up the master tech I work with and asked his opinion. "Magnetic pickup coil. You need a distributor."
I waited an hour, cranked the truck up and drove it home. Drives great until it's running long enough for the magnet to fail. I let it die on it's own at my house.
So the plan is to R&R the dizzy, my one "sweating freeze plug", oil pressure sending unit and coolant temp sending unit before I crank her up again.
