it done burnt...
k. buddies got a 94 f150 with the 5spd, 4x4, 300 six. last march the thing caught fire due to a valve cover gasket leak. we decided to try to get it goin again. from what we can tell it mainly burnt up the wiring harness, ALL vaccum lines, and the injectors. throttle body is toast. intake tube is melted. need new throttle cable as well.
so we went out to the ol' junkyard. already pulled a harness off of one, and a new intake tube since the old one was melted. tomorro gunna pick up a fuel rail with injectors and the lines that run to it, new valve cover gasket, new upper intake gasket, and TB. my question is that since every vacuum line under the hood is non existant, are there any lines that we absolutely must have and some that are not necessary? and help would be awesome on on this one guys.
