1999 F-150
my 1999 f-150 4.2V6 is missing on 1+2 cylinders.i changed plugs and wires and it is still missing. any suggestions?

check out your distributor, maybe it is going bad. could possibly be a coil problem as well? not likely, but I have seen it before. Neither are a cheap fix, but are a fix none the less.

He doesn't have a distributor so it will be hard to check it.

Cylinders 1 & 2 fire off the same coil. The fault will either be a bad coil, bad PCM, or a bad connection between the coil and the PCM.
