When all else fails read the detructions
Hello,
After a year or more I broke down and read the owners manual for Vern
who has a 360. As I was curious to see if it said anything about starting him up. For a cold start it read depress the pedal all the way down then pull choke all the way out and release the pedal then engage starter.Once started adjust choke as necessary.
I hadn't started Vern in several days and I had my doubts that this technique would work. Guess what he fired off like he was already warm I couldn't believe it; I hadn't started him for over a week! it was 45 degrees here today.

There are a lot of young drivers who never saw a carburator, let alone driven one. I've heard carbs have fallen out of modern text books as well.
