cam help

can someone on here please help me figure out what cam would best fit my application? the engine is a 302 out of an 89 F150 it will have a fresh rebuild, gt40p heads and possibly intake, shorty headers, and other than that pretty much factory internals....i did completly rebuild the trans with slightly stroger parts but i doubt that should make a difference. i just need to know what i need to look for when i am buying this cam

What vehicle is the motor going into?
What gearing, tires, transmission does it have?
What use will the vehicle get.

the engine wil be going into an 89 f150 2wd short bed and as of right now it is going to have factory gears... that could change down the road. the trans is a slighlty built AOD. the truck will be a street truck but i want it to have a bit of power.

I'm assuming it's going to be using the stock EFI then too?

If so cam choices are more limited but if you could come up with a roller assembly used or from a junkyard motor the stock 5.0HO cam with 1.7 rockers is a real good one to use. The truck should then get 3.73-4.10 gears depending what size tires you use.
