yeah, my boss has two roll backs, and a winch wrecker with the 7.3L. Decent sized trucks really. All three have a 5 speed spicer

The correct refill capacity of the common medium duty International T444E is 20 quarts of oil. There may be some applications such as low profile chassis or UPS delivery trucks etc. that use a smaller capacity oil pan.

the 4R100 when properly build is a decent transmission, I went 220,000 on my factory tranny then had it rebuilt with a quite a few upgrades and mods and it is way better than factory so I expect it to last at as long as the factory.

If don't know if you could make a C6 work behind a PS but at a minimum you would need a gear vendors or some other after market overdrive to maintain any type of highway driveability.

it's is a thought though and looking at your sig your the man to try it, how do you like the 6.9 in the bronco?

A built 4R100 can be made every bit as tough as a C6.
If your going to swap trannys, why not upgrade to a TS?

what is a TS? u know the bronco is a project im putting togeather now so i couldnt tell you yet its going to be a offroad toy, but the 75 crewcab with the 6.9 is awful to drive, someday when money is no object i will get a 12v cummins for a project..

Guys that have them love them.
They hold the power of a 3V V10, 6.0 or 6.4 and last longer doing it than a 4R100 with a 2V V10 or 7.3.

Only ones I know of that died were from extreme engine mods or using the wrong fluid.
There are many trucks running 500+ RWHP that have yet to kill their's.
They can not take the same fluid as the 4R100.

You have to use a stand alone controller on an older truck, there is a company that makes them for $1500 IIRC.

I found this page and thought it interesting.

International T 444E Specifications

after you read aobut the INT T444E click up on the 7.3 specs in the upper left and read about the Powerstroke.

Still the same block, and still the same engine, but the Ford version actually produces more HP, and less torque.

Nice web page but don't make bets about the T444E depending on the accuracy of the information presented there. "Suttle changes"???
"with suttle differences"????? Site needs a spell checker also.

haha well that rules that one out! sinc ei can buy 3 c6's for the price of the controller alone.
