1966 grill help
I need a grill for my truck it is one of the last thing that i need and no one makes it WFT!!! Does anyone know where I can get one. I am sure that i am not the only person who need one. Everyone has them in the parts magazines but all i here is, its on back order and check back. I have been checking back for a year now. So any help would be great.

Hopefully; Number Dummy will see this post and reply; he got a contact that possiblity has NOS; not a repo made overseas; but he also might know of a vendor that has one as well.
Where you live will also be a consideration; I got one that's okay for a daily driver but not show & shine quality.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has either one.

Dennis Carpenter has no C6TZ8200B reproductions available.
They've been on back order for over two years. When you call DC and ask, they don't know when the grille will be (if ever) available again.

5 bills ($500.00) isn't too bad when one considers it's Genuine Ford (not a repop), the last MSRP was $412.91 and it's been obsolete for over 20 years.

If you want polished aluminum you'll need to keep looking. I see them on ebay from time to time. You'll pay a good price for it polished.

Ive got a super nice original aluminum grille...excellent tabs, etc....not cheap...but its not an easy find...let me know if interested....
If you want CHROME....you need a steel one...which I dont have...I do have some steel headlight doors though....

I have a fair aluminum grille---needs straitening, which I will sell cheaply. However, I don't send/ship parts...cash only at my house. I have several parts for '64 & '66 trucks, but all are used and not show quality. They are all serviceable until you can find the perfect replacement. Bezels, grilles, light assemblies, and even a slightly bent bumper.
