motor mounts

I can't speak for Speedway's mount specifically, but in general I think the tube mounts are stonger than individual side mounts because they tie the two mounts together and actually becomes an additional crossmember of sorts. Given a choice between individual mounts or a tube mount, I'd go with a tube if it fits your application. I'm using the Volare suspension, so I dont think I can use a tube mount.
... I bought a very similar engine x-member from SoCal in Phoenix. That is a solid piece of metal and I trust it would take a lot of HP. However, comparing the two (i.e the picture on the Speedway web site ( http://www.speedwaymotors.com ) and my x-member) I find the one from SoCal to be a bit easier to cut and weld (in fact I did not cut it at all). Guess you can see it at their website ( http://www.vintagepartsaz.com ) as well as in my truck on my web site ( http://www.ford.gmxhome.de ).
