what's it worth?
Buddy has a 97 F-150 4x4, 4.6 v8, auto, 125,000 miles. regular cab longbed maroon, lariat fully loaded, body is pretty nice. runs/drives great.....looks good.
don't have any idea how much to put it up for.

well you could go to kelly blue book .com and go through that. if you trust your buddy and the maintenance, and everything is tight and no squeaks/major rust, id say right about 5 grand. maybe more or less, it really just depends... offer three and see where it goes from there

Not to get any hopes up but it is a bit of a rare truck, the regular cab lariats were only in '97 and '98 as far as I know. If it is as clean as I assume from your post I'd say $7K isn't out of line.

I'm not gonna lie the interior is pretty dirty but nothing a pressure washer couldn't fix, seat is ripped.
the PO took real good care of the outside and the maintence of the engine but he was rather large and ate alot so the interior is pretty beat up.
I'm gonna tell him to put it up for 5k and see what happens.
