Hey folks, nooby to the forums here, hope to learn much from you folks.. I have a 97 with the 4.2 with 172k on it. Past history, had head gaskets replaced and currently have a k&n filter setups and aintake manifold spacer and jet chip from 6 year ago.. Have they or do they offer any updates since then. I have ran my truck on 93 and 87 with no real world difference except some pinging when being lugged in gear. Also have a flowmaster with stock cats... Thanks ahead for any help folks and take care
I called tech support about my problem and ask about upgrades, the dude could not have been more rude to the point of being a *****. Offered no help but to just remove the chip and waste my money.. Oh I will remove it and sell it and won't use your products one more day. F those dbags 100%
I'm sorry to hear they were rude. There's never good reason to be rude to a past/potentially future customer. They might not be able to meet your wants, but no reason to be rude.
I'm curious. What exactly did you ask them to do?
With this type of technology (similar to computer hardware and software), their options are probably limited with a 6 year old part on a 13 year old truck.
