Edge Insight??

Hey guys I'm trying to educate myself alittle with these tuners so to speak. I'm currently looking at a Edge Insight (which seems to be popular with alot of guys here) I definetley want to leave the truck stock, but I want to monitor my Oil Temperature and Coolant temperature. Will this Insight work for me?? Or do I just have to go the gauges route?? Does the Insight allow you to keep the truck stock?? Many Thanks guys..

The insight is not a tuner, it is only a monitor. It will monitor everything except fuel pressure. It will monitor egt's with an additional egt probe. It is a great device for the price. I have one and love it.

It plugs right into the obdII port under the dash. If you get the egt probe, you will run it through the fire wall and it will plug into the cord right at the same port. Installation is very easy. Longest thing with it is just setting it up with how you want it to look/monitor. You can have up to 4 pages with anywhere from 2 things being monitored up to 7 per page.

They do make a pillar mount. It actually mounts on the corner of the dash right above the vent. It was around and extra $40. A little pricey but it sure does look good. I found the velcro that came with was a little weak on the glue side. So I went to lowes and bought some heavy duty velcro and that worked great. For everything with shipping I spent somewhere around $425 if I remember right. That was for the insight, pod, and egt probe.
