215 am alternator on a '96?

Will a 215 amp alternator fit on a '96 7.3l I believe the 215 amp is for the ambulance package....I've read that you may have to clearance the bracket but not sure, anyone know if the plug will fit?

Thanks,
Justin

215 Amp Alt pictures from cars photos on webshots

Here are some pictures. along with another thread found from google.

So to me it looks like you need to upgrade the wiring, use long bolts, a new belt, and a little adjustment on how it sits, other than that it should work.
