strange electrical behavior and no start
My cousin has a 06 with the 6.0 that will not start if left overnight. If he cranks and cranks, it will eventually come to life but not easily. Sometimes it will kill the batteries and not start. Once it runs, it runs ok. He replaced the ICP sensor on the valve cover and the fuel filters. The check engine light is on, but it doesn't appear to have any codes???? The funny thing is that when this started, the dome lights stay on all the time, the door chimes when the key is in the ignition and the door closed and not when the door is open. The headlights are acting funny. There is a fuel pump on the frame rail that runs longer than normal when the key is turned on, sometimes 30 seconds or more. What controls this pump? It seems as if this pump is trying to build pressure but not sucessful. Any ideas? Anybody seen anything like this before?
Thanks

Do a master reset as per link below - it solved many problems.
That should address the computer glitches.
If you have a CEL without codes -- it is a big glitch.
While you are doing the reset and have the batteries disconnected, fully charge and test both batteries before you attempt a restart.
