Hey anybody who can answer this please does. From what I've been finding is that my 65' f100 factory 4x4 is a chassis and cab. Is there any way I can tell? Any vid code or anything?? I would like to know so I can say it's even more rare =P

There's no way to tell by any codes on the Warranty Plate or within the VIN.
Ford started ID'ing whether a truck was Cab & Chassis or pickup by the VIN's Series code (the first 3 digits).
A Cab & Chassis has no back of cab equipment. No pickup box, no flat bed, no stake bed...just bare frame rails.
After looking at your gallery pics...your truck has a Styleside bed, so it's not a Cab & Chassis.
well thanks.... ive used this book i bought at a swap meet and it has nothing about 1965's... everything about all the other years. and what that book says its a chassis and cab... and thanks a bundle about the wooden bed blocks

I don't care what some book claims...get yourself a 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog (available on a CD from hipoparts.com for 22 bucks) and look it up.
It cannot be a Cab & Chassis in any way shape or form, if it has a pickup bed, regardless of what year the truck is.

Ford sold Cab & Chassis to customers that wished to mount their own back of cab equipment.
This could be a box body, tow truck apperatus, aftermarket flatbed, or stakebed, utility body and etc.
I was a Ford partsman for 35 years (1962/97), so I know what the heck I'm a talkin' about.
I wasn't doubting what you said, and I beleive you 100 % ... But what I've seen in other ford books is that the majority of 4x4s came out of the factory chassis and cab, which I don't believe... Oh and on another post I stated asking you if You could find a NOS roof skin, well guess what I lucked out and found one

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor showed they had the NOS roof panel.
I know a old ford parts dealer, worked at ford from 1958 til' 98' and at the end of each body style generation, he bought out every single part on stock for that modle years, he has a nos grill for a 1952 f1. He has a brand new set of wiper blades for a 1961-66 f100 yet ... But there probably shot, so sometimes the best can be wrong

While doing a parts inventory at a dealer in the 1980's, I met a old partsguy that had hauled home all the obsolete parts that the dealer he worked at for 45 years (City Ford in L/A) had thrown away.
His one car garage was crammed to the rafters with obsolete parts, some dating back to 1932. 15 pickup trucks loads (truck had a Camper Shell) is what it added up to, and I bought all of it...
I used to buy out Ford (& former Packard) dealers stocks of obsolete parts here on the west coast, then sold them to friends, at swap meets and thru ads placed in Hemmings Motor News.
